Charred body found in Nicosia

Police found the charred body, believed to be of a 65-year-old woman, on the roof of a block of flats in Aglandjia, Nicosia, on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the Greek Cypriot woman’s body was found by her brother, who notified police shortly after 4pm.

Police members rushed to the scene and are investigating, while a state pathologist has also been called to examine the body.
