Easter food collection campaign at Mall of Engomi

The Mall of Engomi in Nicosia has launched a food collection campaign to help the municipality’s food banks over the Easter period.
“The campaign aims to mobilise residents to offer moments of joy this Easter to others who are in need,” an announcement said.
A large ‘Easter Bus’ had been erected at the premises of The Mall of Engomi, in which members of the public can deposit foodstuff. All items collected will be given to the Engomi food banks which are being operated by the Ayios Nicolaos church and Ayioi Pantes church, in cooperation with the Engomi municipality.
“The Mall of Engomi supports Cypriot society and vulnerable groups through practical solutions at every opportunity,” said the director of The Mall of Engomi, Spyros Michaelides.
“This Easter the opportunity is given to us all to participate in this solidarity initiative.”
The campaign ends on May 2.
