Mont Pelerin meeting on territory criteria

The meeting between President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci on a document with the criteria of the two sides on territory is due to begin at 11am local time.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, the meeting has been scheduled to begin at this time following a request by the Turkish Cypriot side so the members of its negotiating team have the time to meet.

According to the same information, a meeting of the Greek Cypriot negotiating team will also take place under President Anastasiades.

Anastasiades and Akinci began intensive negotiations on the territory issue and all other outstanding issues in the Cyprus talks at Mont Pelerin on Monday. The talks in Switzerland are scheduled to conclude on Friday.
