Romania’s largest manufacturer of alcoholic beverages announces the start of operations in Cyprus
Alexandrion Group, Romania’s largest manufacturer of alcoholic beverages, announced choosing Cyprus as the base for its international operations, during a news conference marking the official start of its operations on the island.
Speaking at the news conference were the company’s chairman, founder, and owner Mr Nawaf Salameh, vice-chairman Stelios Savva, and global marketing manager Evros Papadopoulos.
In fluent Greek, Mr Salameh gave a brief recounting of the company’s history, highlighting its values and vision. Special emphasis was placed on the company’s active participation in Romania’s social affairs, analyzing in greater detail the corporate social responsibility plan it intends to introduce to international markets, starting with Cyprus.
Mr Stelios Savva described the financial benefits Cyprus stands to gain from Alexandrion Group’s decision to choose the island as the base for its international operations, and noted that Cyprus has always been a country with business prospects, as well as a place of exceptionally advantageous geographic location, which makes it attractive to companies with an international outlook.
Speeches were concluded with Mr Evros Papadopoulos, who summarized the company’s three growth pillars, which revolve around quality, innovation, and the Alexandrion Group’s broad range of products.
Mr Papadopoulos referred to each of the company’s individual brands, noting their competitive advantages, thus painting a clear picture of the quality and innovation employed at production.
The conference was concluded with a tasting of selected drinks, coordinated by brand ambassador Nicos Zygouropoulos. Attendees had the opportunity to experience unique tastes, familiarize themselves with the products and each brand’s unique characteristics.
At the conference the cooperation with Fereos Four Point Distribution Ltd was announced, as the official representative of Alexandrion brands in Cyprus.
