The Paphos Castle Square will once again host a dynamic and majestic performance as part of the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017 events on Wednesday, a united dance performance between the two capitals of culture for this year, Paphos and Aarhus, under the name The Red Hour.
Artists from both cities will draw inspiration from their homes and their stories and present them in dance form. The work will be shown in both cities and performed by six dancers from the dance group Black Box from Holstebro (Denmark) in collaboration with choreographers and four dancers from Cyprus.
Marie Brolin-Tani is the person behind the idea and creation, while Melody Putu and Fotis Nikolaou are the choreographers who came up with the dance steps.
The accompanying music is a new composition by Gert Sorenssen. The whole performance will be given that extra wow factor with lighting design and projections by Karolina Spyrou.
