Two sought by Paphos police for stealing nude photos from phone

Paphos police HQ

Police in Paphos are looking for two men who stole nude photos from a phone belonging to a female acquaintance.

According to police spokesperson Michalis Nicolaou, on Thursday two women aged 24 and 26 told officers that a 24-year-old man, an acquaintance of both, while scrolling through one of their phones, sent several explicit photos of the two women to his own number without their permission.

In addition to that, the two women added that the photos were also sent to another person, a 31-year-old man.

According to Nicolaou, the two accused threatened the victims that they would post the photos on social media.

The suspects when they are found, will face charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, illegal access to an information system, interception of private communication and human trafficking.
