Arson attack
A PROPERTY belonging to a 39-year-old man in Larnaca was set on fire yesterday at around 5am.

The blaze, which was extinguished by firemen, destroyed the interior of the premises. The damage has been estimated at €25,000. Investigations showed it was an arson attack. Larnaca CID is investigating the case.

Dog poo
PAPHOS councillor EDEK’s Vassos Demetriou, yesterday sent a letter to Paphos Mayor, Savvas Vergas asking local authorities to take drastic measures against dog owners who do not clean up after their pets on sidewalks, parks and other public areas in Paphos.

According to the letter, Demetriou said it was time for dog owners to respect the environment and stop endangering the health of other residents.
