Rat faeces found on kids’ fruit and veg

RAT droppings were found on Tuesday in fruit and vegetable meant to be eaten by children at a Paphos primary school and kindergarten.

Reports said the produce, apples, cucumbers and raisins, were to be consumed by the children of the Kouklia school.

However, the school headmistress noticed that rodents got to the food and refused to take delivery. She informed the ministry, which banned the company’s products until the matter was investigated.
