‘Final Friday’ at Nuovo

TOMORROW night Nuovo club in Nicosia is having a last big party to celebrate the end of the season with the slogan ‘Final Friday’.

According to the club’s facebook page the club is going out with a bang tomorrow. The entrance fee is €15 for women and €20 for men. If you are interested in getting a free entrance and free champagne, send a message to the facebook page provided below. After the party the club will remain closed for renovations and by September it will be ready to open with new events and certainly a different name.

According to a facebook statement the general manager of the club Stephanos Spyrou gave in the keys to the club on May 28 as this was his last season as the general manager. He held this position for the last ten years.

A teenage customer of Nuovo club, Raphael Panayi said: “The club was closed last year at the same time. Nuovo club offers many different events like message parties, carnival parties etc in a fun atmosphere that teens are more than happy to enjoy.”

“In comparison to other clubs Nuovo is spacious with nice music (Greek and English). I like it because at Nuovo most customers are my age, mostly 17 to 21” Andri Andronikou said.

The club has been running for the last 15 years. It began as club Agora, continued with several other names and for the last five years it has been operating with the name Nuovo club. This year the club has been awarded with the Best Nightclub Award. Every Friday teens had the chance to enjoy R&B nights.

The club is situated near the city centre at 11, Stasinou Nicosia. For more information go to the facebook pages Nuovo club or Nuovo Fridays or visit the website
