Bank service was poor before bailout

Even if we discount the recent problems, Cypriot banks have delivered poor service underpinned by abysmal public relations.

I have an account with Bank of Cyprus in Paphos. We all know when we send a credit that the bank takes a small share but we rarely know how much until we receive our statement -pretty unimpressive.

In February whilst in England €150 was taken for “security code fees”. I wrote four emails but the Bank did not answer. Apparently no other branch but IBU Paphos charges this. No letter or explanation is this legal?

I am sure no Bank of Cyprus spokesman will comment. We need a clear code of practice and fee schedule.
