Taxi nightmare at Paphos airport

Taxis, taxis everywhere. What a nightmare Paphos airport is. In the last few weeks we have had family over from the UK. First problem I had was trying to pick them up from the drop off and pick up area’s which was full of unattended taxis. When I asked the so called traffic attendants who were standing in a group having their usual chat close by, one said they shouldn’t be parked there. I asked what if I had parked my car there…’well it would be towed away sir’…

It would seem that once again taxi drivers can do what they like, they have their own taxi park next to the terminal but would sooner park in the drop off zone or on the double yellow lines outside the terminal. The same happened when we returned our relatives on the  Wednesday… full of taxis again. I had to drive around and go into the car park. I have never had this problem with Larnaca airport. There is obviously lack of proper management at Paphos airport. Please get it sorted.
