Charity offers free driving guidance

ROADAR Cyprus, a charitable group specialising in advanced driving and riding techniques is offering free professional advice and guidance to all full driving licence holders to improve their ability and road sense.

“You have a lot of responsibility when you are on the road. One second you think you’re a good driver and the next a momentary lack of attention or a bad habit could cause a crash that leads to death, injury and prosecution, the group said in an announcement.

Doros Apostolou, the Chairman of RoADAR Cyprus added: “Every day we see drivers and riders taking unnecessary risks jeopardising their own safety and other road users. When we are driving and riding, our skills must be beyond criticism”.

The group is staging an open day at the Laura Beach Hotel on the coast road at Chlorakas, on Sunday, June 30 at 11am to showcase the courses and benefits for drivers and riders.

RoADAR Cyprus also provides Fleet Driver Training Courses for business drivers in the workplace and the management of vehicle fleets. All training is designed to meet the requirements of Health and Safety Regulations, duty of care and Corporate Responsibility.

“Advanced driving and riding courses are challenging but fun and free,” says Apostolou.

“Whatever your driving question, we have the answer. So, come along put us to the test”
