Knife attack at Paphos restaurant

A restaurant employee, 38, was attacked Thursday by a 45-year-old wielding a knife in Kato Paphos on Thursday, police said.

The 38-year-old was working in the restaurant’s kitchen when his assailant attacked him, cutting his hand and punching him in the face.

The victim visited Paphos general hospital’s emergency department where doctors established he had been cut on the arm and had two teeth missing.

The 45-year-old was arrested and held for questioning.
