Electronic items valued at around €4,750 were stolen from a house in Kato Paphos, police said.

At around 3.20am on Wednesday, Paphos police received a call from a resident saying that between 10.15pm on Tuesday and 2.40am the following day, someone had broken into his home and stolen two laptops, two Ipads, four cameras, a number of camera lenses and a man’s watch, totalling in value around €4,750.

On examining the scene, police said they believe the house was broken into via the kitchen window.

Investigations are continuing into the Paphos burglary.


Police found a pistol, a cartridge and seven bullets in a bag in Engomi on Tuesday. The bag was found after police were tipped-off by a passer-by. The gun was sent for forensic testing, police said. Nicosia CID is investigating the find.
