Break-in at Paphos jewellery shop

THIEVES got away with jewellery and other valuables after breaking into a shop on Makarios Avenue in Paphos on Tuesday.

Paphos police spokesman, Nicos Tsappis said the culprits were only able to take a small amount of jewellery and valuables as the security alarm went off as they entered the shop.

The value of the items taken has not yet been calculated.

“The culprits broke in through the shop’s main entrance by breaking the lock,” Tsappis said.
