Bar review: Mojito Bar & Grill, Protaras

By Andreas Vou

Named after the owner’s favorite Cuban cocktail, Mojito Bar & Grill has become one of the busiest venues not only in Pernera, but in the whole Protaras area, so much so that the restaurant is fully booked well ahead of the evening service on many occasions.

Emma Watson, the owner of the establishment, set out to create a place which produced fantastic food, quality drinks and authentic cocktails in a clean and modern environment without containing gimmicks such as karaoke, as so many other places in the area commonly do.

Since the very beginning when Mojito opened in 2007, the message ‘We do not sell fast food, we do however serve fresh food as fast as we possibly can’ has been written on their menus – a philosophy that is at the core of its gradual rise to one of the most popular spots in the area. While trying a number of different places to eat is desirable, the high quality of food means that many of Mojito’s customers often become regulars while the generous portions are guaranteed to satisfy even the most demanding of customers.
The bar/restaurant contains modern, stylish interior and a simple yet endearing menu.

Mojito Bar and Grill also caters for weddings with a relaxed atmosphere, a large selection of quality food and drink and a covered, peaceful garden area with comfortable seating, impressive decoration and relaxing background music which can be devoted exclusively to guests on their special day.

If you want superb quality food at realistic prices, try Mojito for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a relaxing drink. Your only disappointment will be that you didn’t discover it sooner.
