Pedestrian killed

A 40-year-old Bulgarian woman was killed in Limassol at around 8.30pm on Friday after she was hit by a car driven by a 47-year-old Cypriot man, police said.

The woman was attempting to cross the Amathoundas Road near Dolce night club in Limassol when a car driven by the 47-year-old struck and killed her.

The driver was given an alco-test but no traces of alcohol were found.

Limassol traffic police are investigating the incident.
