Kyriacos Kenevezos

EDUCATION minister Kyriacos Kenevezos launched on Friday the second year of free breakfast for needy children in the Limassol district in cooperation with the Bishopric, the Limassol school district board and Carrefour Marinopoulos supermarkets.

Carrefour Marinopoulos will provide 346,000 sandwiches and 2,100 bottles of water to needy children from 90 schools in Limassol over the current school year.

The sandwiches will be prepared by volunteers at the Limassol metropolis. The school district board will provide the cars to transport the breakfasts. Funding for transport will also be provided by the cooperative savings bank.
