Raid on cafés acting as casinos

Police in Limassol confiscated 72 computers and €100 in cash on Wednesday evening following a raid on two internet cafés which were reportedly operating as an online casinos.
Officers from the CID, crime prevention unit and the electronic data forensic laboratory raided two internet cafés in Limassol on Wednesday evening, confiscating 72 computers and €100, police said.
The owners and employees of the cafés were questioned but were not cautioned as police wait for tests to be carried out on the computers to confirm they were being used illegally.
