Three men travelling together were arrested on arrival at Paphos airport on Sunday when police found almost 30 kilos of cannabis in their luggage.

Police said they found 29.2 kilos of cannabis in the luggage of two of the three men, all holders of Greek passports.

The trio arrived in Paphos in the morning from Brussels, police said.

In a separate case, Larnaca police found seven kilos of cannabis at the home of a person related to two suspects arrested earlier for drugs.

The two had been remanded in custody on Saturday but a subsequent search of a relative’s home came up with 7.6 grammes of cannabis and 28 grammes of cocaine.
