Burglary remand

PAPHOS district court on Thursday remanded a 31-year-old Romanian man for two days in connection with a burglary on Saturday.

A British woman reported to police on October 19 that the villa she was staying in had been with electronic devices including two mobile phones, a DVD player, a sound system reportedly stolen.

The 31-year-old was arrested by police shortly before he was due to depart for Bucharest with the stolen goods allegedly packed in his luggage.

Polis Chrysochous police station is investigating the case.
