Larnaca hospital

POLICE in Larnaca have issued an arrest warrant for a 44-year-old Turkish man after he injured his 24-year-old stepson with a knife following an argument the pair had on Thursday evening.

According to reports the two men began arguing at around 7.30pm when the 24-year-old had gone to ask for money from his mother.

During the argument the 44-year-old allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed his step-son, injuring him on the shoulder and side.

The 24-year-old was taken by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital where the doctors gave him first aid and released him.
