Fun and research at TEPAK

FROM participating in cooperative games via a multi-touch interactive table to interacting with a humanoid robot, visitors had their curiosity piqued and a chance to participate in the fun of research as part of this year’s Researcher’s Night.

The university of technology’s (TEPAK) multimedia and graphic arts department participated in the geeky fun with their Interaction Lab and gave children the chance to play with a robot, every geeky child’s dream. Should the tiny researchers choose one day to join the graduate programme they will get to develop and work with technologies and systems.

Organised by the Cyprus Research Promotion of Cyprus in collaboration with academic and research bodies the free event, called Science Rocks, recently took place in Limassol’s Evagoras & Kathleen Lanitis Foundation.
