Mugging outside Limassol General Hospital

Limassol General Hospital

A 43-year-old woman was mugged as she was leaving Limassol General Hospital on Monday night with €685 taken from her purse, police said.

According to reports, at around 10pm the 43-year-old woman was leaving the hospital when she was approached by an unknown man wearing dark clothes and a helmet. He allegedly snatched her bag and took the purse out which contained €685, before making a run for it, police said. Her assailant is described as being of thin build and around 1.75 metres in height.

Polemidia police station is investigating the incident
