Qatar Airways to start Cyprus flights

Qatar Airways announced it will start flying to Cyprus’ Larnaca airport starting April 29, 2014.

The airline said it will fly to Larnaca from Doha four times a week.

“Larnaca is a destination that Qatar Airways is pleased to be providing regular scheduled service to,” the company said in a press release. “We are continually striving to provide customers with more options of unique destinations to visit, and the Mediterranean city of Larnaca is a welcomed new addition to the airline’s route map.”

The route will be operated by an Airbus A320, in a two-class configuration with 12 seats in Business Class and 132 in Economy Class.

Larnaca will be the airline’s first route to Cyprus.

The flights will be operated
on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

They will depart Doha at 8.10am and arrive in Larnaca at 12pm. The return flight will leave Cyprus at 2.10pm.
