Explosion at DIKO club in Limassol

Police arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with an explosion which happened shortly after midnight on Monday in Limassol that caused extensive damage to a clubhouse belonging to the Democratic Party, DIKO.
The explosion took place at around 12.30am and following investigations carried out at the scene it was established an improvised explosive device was placed near the clubhouse entrance.
Police arrested a 45-year-old man later on Monday, following an eye-witness statement.
