Sheep rustling in Sotira

Nine sheep valued at around €100 each were stolen from a farm in Sotira between Monday and Wednesday, police said.

The livestock owner reported to police on Thursday that his animals had been stolen between December 30 and January 1.

Investigations carried out at the scene showed that the animals had been herded onto a vehicle on the farm’s west entrance, police said.

Famagusta CID is investigating the case in cooperation with Derynia police station.
