Kiosk and bakery robbed

A KIOSK in Limassol and a bakery in Nicosia were robbed during the early hours of Monday with the total amount stolen coming to around €320, police said.

At around 1.35am two hooded men entered a kiosk in Limassol wielding a gun and a crowbar. They threatened the kiosk employee and demanded he hand over any money which was in the till, police said. The amount came to €304. The robbers made their getaway on a motorbike.

At around 12.50am a man entered a bakery in Lakatamia with a knife and managed to get €15 and some change from the till.

Police are investigating both cases.
