Lotina given the boot by Omonia

Lotina last just 37 days

In a short statement issued last night Omonia announced the sacking of their Spanish coach Miguel Angel Lotina.

Lotina was the fifteenth coach in just ten years for Omonia and he  lasted just 37 days.

In his short tenure the Spaniard managed just one win (against doomed Alki) two draws and two defeats.

He was often criticized for chopping and changing his starting eleven and being unable to adapt when things were not going as planned during the game.

Favourite to succeed him is Omonia’s former player and current Alki coach Costas Kaiafas.
