Teen shot at father-of-two who scolded him

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy shot at a 38-year old man for telling him off, according to the police.

The man was not injured.

The incident took place at Asprogia village, Paphos district, on Thursday evening.

According to the police report, the 16-year-old was driving down the road when he hit the bikes belonging to the man’s two children that were outside their house. The 38-year-old claims that he told the boy off and asked him to leave.

Police say the 16-year-old went home, took a hunting gun and returned to the man’s house where he shot at him. He then got into a car with his girlfriend and drove away.

The 38-year-old filed a complaint and police issued arrest warrants for both. They were arrested at around midnight.

They are facing charges of illegal possession of firearm and firing a weapon at an individual.
