Arrest for outstanding debts

One person was arrested for outstanding fines amounting to €57,000 and seven personal computers were confiscated during a raid conducted on Friday by Paphos police aiming to curb the spread of gambling.
Police said on Friday between 6:30 and 7:30pm following a court order it conducted a raid at a suspected establishment in Yeroskipou.
During the raid seven personal computers were spotted and confiscated, and one person was arrested once identified as the subject of unpaid fines.
The police collected evidence from the scene for further investigation.
