Where do you live?
Madrid

Best childhood memory?
Taking a trip to USA with my family for an entire summer and going to Disneyland.

Most frequented restaurant and absolute favourite dish?
I love Ethiopian food and also American diners – I feel like those are two things on the opposite sides of a spectrum, but it’s true!

What food would you really turn your nose up to?
I would turn my nose up to uncooked or rare cooked meat.

What did you have for breakfast?
Eggs, cheese, rye bread.

Would you class yourself as a day or night person? What’s your idea of the perfect night/day out?
Day person. I love being out in nature, walking around endless hills and taking photos.

Best book ever read?
Too many to count. I love Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides because he is able to bring together many different worlds alive in one story.

Favourite film of all time?
Too many to count. I love A Seperation by Iranian director by Asghar Farhadi. I feel that it really blurs moral lines of the characters and doesn’t tell you how to feel about any one of them. Both the script and acting are very strong, and you feel part of the story.

Best holiday ever taken?
I took a trip by myself to Berlin several years ago and it felt extremely liberating to be alone there. I love trips to urban destinations with the perfect balance of overwhelming crowds and quaint little streets.

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Well, currently I am not using a car – but I’m really obsessed with the Her soundtrack by Arcade Fire!

What is always in your fridge?
Halloumi!

Dream house: rural retreat or urban dwelling? Where would it be, what would it be like?
Ideally it would be a mix of both – a little bit outside of the city, enough for peace of mind but with easy access back into urban hustle bustle for inspiration.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
I would love to go out with musician Sufjan Stevens! I need to hear more about his writing process.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
Call up all my loved ones and organise a final gathering of board games and film watching. We might as well go down in style.

What is your greatest fear?
Dying without accomplishing my goals.

Tell me a joke…
I heard this in Her!

What does a baby computer calls its father?
Data. (dada)
