Wanted Brit arrested in Paphos

A British man wanted in connection with firearms offenses has been arrested in Paphos, reports said.

Louis Larsson, 29, from Bolton, was arrested after a joint operation by Greater Manchester Police, the National Crime Agency, and Cyprus police.

The BBC said Larsson is suspected of conspiracy to transfer firearms and conspiracy to possess a firearm without a licence.

He will now face extradition proceedings to return him to Britain.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman was quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying that Larsson was arrested in Paphos on Thursday.
