Woman killed in road accident

A 25-year-old British woman was killed in a road accident in Chlorakas in the early hours of Sunday.

Louise Slater who was living and working in Paphos was driving on Marathonos Street in Chlorakas at around 2.45am when, according to police, she appeared to have lost control of the car, which overturned.

The victim was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, police said.

Slater was taken to Paphos hospital but pronounced dead on arrival. She was alone in the car.
