A 35-YEAR-OLD, who was allegedly buying products worth €20-€30 and receiving change from a €200 bank note, was arrested in a supermarket in the Kamares area in Larnaca.

He was reported to Larnaca’s CID by a hotel manager and owners of supermarkets and other shops and after investigations police narrowed it down a specific person from the Kamares refugee estates in Larnaca.

The 35-year-old, who was expected to appear before the court later on Thursday, is refusing to say where he got the money from, police said.
