First civil wedding for Limassol zoo

The first civil wedding on the grounds of Limassol Zoo will take place on Friday officiated by Deputy Mayor Savvas Stouppas.

Two couples – all veterinarians from the Czech Republic – will tie the knot and asked especially that the service take place at the zoo

Μichal Dasek and Lucie Vagnerova, along with Richard Macek and Aneta Novysedlakova choose Limassol Zoo as their romantic wedding spot.

At 5.30pm the two couples will be taken from Limassol old port to the zoo in a horse and carriage.

On arrival at the zoo they will be welcomed by two musicians dressed in traditional Cypriot costumes and by their guests. A representative from the embassy of the Czech Republic will also attend the 6pm ceremony. A reception serving Cypriot traditional dishes and Commandaria wine will follow the service and the entertainment for the evening will be a Cypriot dancing group in traditional costume.
