Arrest for possession of unlicensed airgun

A man from Larnaca was arrested late on Sunday night after an unlicensed air-gun was found in his possession, police said.

According to the police report, the man was riding in a car along with two other persons when they were stopped for a routine check at around midnight.

A search yielded the illegal air gun which one of the passengers admitted was his own. Upon further questioning, the man informed police officers that he bought the air gun from the occupied areas.
