Tourist drowns in Ayia Napa

An 81-year-old tourist from Germany drowned on Monday afternoon in Ayia Napa.

The man, who was found floating unconscious at around 4:20pm, was pulled out of the sea by lifeguards and was taken to a private clinic where his death was confirmed.

An autopsy was to be carried out today
