In memory of Mari explosion

Justice Minister Ionas Nicolaou yesterday attended an official ceremony re-naming the Ayios Ioannis Fire Station in Limassol, the Sergeant Vassilis Krokos Fire Station after one of the six firemen killed in the Mari naval base blast on July 11, 2011.

Nicolaou paid tribute to the dead fireman and all 13 people killed in the explosion. Krokos, who was 29, when he died, was the son of a former deputy police chief
