Cyprus to host two more of Israel’s European matches

Two more matches featuring Israeli football teams in European competitions, scheduled for next week, will be played in Cyprus at the request of UEFA and the Israeli Football Federation and in consultation with the Cyprus Police.

The decision was taken due to the volatile situation in Israel.

The matches to take place in Cyprus are the following:
Maribor Slovenia will face Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.The game will take place on Tuesday, August 5, at 21:00, at the Antonis Papadopoulos stadium in Larnaca.

Dinamo Moscow will face Hapoel Kiryat Shmona in the Europa League in the third qualifying round. The game will take place on Thursday, August 7, at 20:00, at GSP stadium in Nicosia.
