Contaminated batch of Mars and Milky Way chocolate milks recall

Mars Hellas issued a statement on Saturday that Mars chocolate drink (350 ml) and Milky Way chocolate drink (350 ml) will be withdrawn for the market after suspicion that some of the bottles might be contaminated with bacillus bacteria.

The suspected batch has expiry dates of between December 19, 2014 and April 11, 2015.

The company makes it clear that no other product was affected and that Mars Hellas is fully cooperating with authorities to complete the recall as soon as possible.

“We apologise for this development and we assure consumers that Mars Hellas will always strive to ensure safe, top quality products,” read the statement.
