Two arrested for attempted burglary

Two Romanian men, 32 and 23, were arrested on Friday in Paphos after they attempted to break into an apartment, police said.

According to police, Paphos officers received a tip at 4am saying that two individuals were trying to break into an apartment on Poseidonos avenue.

The apartment was on the ground floor.

A police car was dispatched and found the two suspects walking near the apartment. They were arrested and taken to Paphos police station where they were interrogated, police said.

Following the interrogation, the two men were placed under arrest.
