Film industry could thrive in Cyprus

As Constantinos Psillides pointed out in his article in the Sunday Mail on August 24, Malta has a thriving and growing film industry whereas Cyprus, with far more to offer, has nothing.

The old terminal at Paphos Airport is ideal as a start-up film studio. Besides the excellent indoors facilities, there is extensive hard-standing for storage and exterior ‘sets’. Noise is no problem, with quiet jets using the runway some distance from the old terminal.
