Police arrest suspected murder accomplice

POLICE arrested a 56-year-old man at Paphos airport in connection with charges of complicity to commit murder in the UK.

The Cypriot man, who is a permanent resident of the United Kingdom, is wanted by British authorities for questioning in connection to charges of being an accomplice to murder, as stipulated in a European Arrest Warrant issued six years ago.

According to police, procedures for his transfer to England have already begun.
