AUTHORITIES yesterday gave residents of Kalo Chorio in Larnaca the all-clear to use their local water supply.
In a statement, the health ministry said latest lab analysis of water samples taken on September 15 found the water is now safe for drinking and cooking.
The health services had on two previous occasions advised residents not to consume water from their local supply. The source of the contamination had been traced to two wells in the area. Local authorities cut off the two wells from the local water network.
