July tourism revenue down 5.1 pct

Cyprus’ revenue from tourism fell 5.1 per cent year-on-year in July, to €321.2 million, the statistical service said.

In the same month, arrivals rose an annual 5.7 per cent to 381,955, Cystat said in a statement.

Between January and July, revenue rose 6.1 per cent to €1.1 billion, compared with the respective period last year, mainly on a 17 per cent increase in June, Cystat said.
