Postal service warns of delays

The postal service on Thursday warned of delays in the arrival of mail to Cyprus that is handled through Amsterdam due to overloaded flights.

The arrival of postal items from Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Hong Kong, Korea, China, Singapore, South Africa and Sri Lanka will be affected, it said.

“The Cyprus Post expresses its regret for the inconvenience and assure their customers that every effort will be made ​​to deliver the overdue items to the recipients immediately after their arrival in Cyprus,” a written announcement said.
