HAVE you ever had a dream and called a friend to talk about it or looked up what it all means? These dreams may be telling us something important and our friends can’t always help us figure out what that is. The man who can do so and figure out how to use them to better manage stress levels and achieve personal goals is psychotherapist Dr Byron Gaist, who will give a lecture and workshop on Working Therapeutically with Your Dreams on December 4 at the American College in Nicosia.
The lecture will begin at 6.15pm with registration and at 6.30pm Gaist will present a lecture on sleep dreams and dream work until 7.20pm. There will be a short break and then at 7.30 he will give an experimental workshop on working therapeutically with your dreams until 8.30pm.
Gaist has worked with children and adults and uses an integrative approach to treat his patients. This mainly concentrates on humanistic and depth psychology and cognitive behaviour. He considers every person unique and views that each of us is the ultimate expert on our own life and he thinks of himself as a facilitator who supports and encourages for the individual to have inner and outer wellbeing.
If your dreams are bothering you or if you find the unconscious world of dreams fascinating, then register to be a part of the lecture and workshop before Thursday by calling 22-661122 or emailing [email protected]
