Government generates 1.6% of GDP fiscal surplus in January to October

The government posted a 274.9 million euros surplus, or 1.6 per cent of economic output, mainly on reduced expenditure between January and October, compared with a 474.8 million euros deficit, which is 2.6 per cent of GDP, a year ago, the finance ministry said.
