BoC shares to resume trading on December 16

Bank of Cyprus shares will resume trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) on December 16.
According to a CSE announcement the shares will be traded on the Main Market with new code ISIN CY0104810110, under the codes ΤΡΚΥ/ BOCY. The opening price was set by the company at €0.24. The total share capital amounts to 8,922,377,345 shares.
The shares will be included in the stock indexes of the CSE, after at least 10 working days of continuous trading. Moreover, under the CSE trading rules and a relevant decision of the CSE Board, the daily fluctuation limits will not apply during the first three (3) trading days.
The trading of Bank of Cyprus` shares was suspended in March 2013, following a bailout that featured a conversion of unsecured deposits to equity to recapitalise the bank. Bank of Cyprus entered a resolution process, which saw the bank absorb assets of Laiki Bank, the island`s second largest lender which has been wound down. (CNA)
